My first question is can you sign up for a course at any time of the year? The reason I ask is because I’d like to do the Grammar Skills Course, but won’t have enough money for it till January-February next year. In the mean time, is there anything I should know?

You can sign up for a course at any time. We only work on a one-to-one basis with our students. When you are ready to start, complete the enrolment form on our country-specific websites (www.ukwriterscollege.co.uk I http://www.sawriterscollege.co.za I http://www.nzwriterscollege.co.nz).

Yes, we open our applications for bursaries around November each year. We require two samples of writing of at least 1000 words, as well as a cover letter. Look out of the call for applications on our blog and Facebook page (The Writers’ College).
